I find it fascinating how the more you work with a brand, the more intimate your understanding and appreciation becomes. One brand recently added to my list of favorites is Magnolia; a family run bakery hailing originally from New York.

They now have a stunning store in Bloomingdales at Dubai Mall. I love how they have managed to recreate their iconic welcoming and familiar feel instore and, needless to say, I love each and every bite of everything they make!
We’ve recently completed a commercial shoot bringing together Magnolia’s new brand imagery. In the run up to the actual shoot, much time was spent truly understanding their look and feel, what makes them unique, how their imagery sits alongside the brand and developing their style. When it came to the actual shoot then, it was all about bringing together the magic.
The store is cosy and intimate leaving little space to set up studio lights but after some minor shuffling, we settled for one big soft box on camera right.
The shoot in its entirety was a success and, I daresay, I plan to return before long for another helping of their delicious banana pudding!
